National bowel screening at scale
RDi has supported the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme for nearly two decades, delivering the diagnostic kitting infrastructure behind FIT home testing at national scale. This infrastructure enables large‑scale preventative screening and supports earlier identification of bowel cancer risk across the population.
Optimised screenings with +CURA
Diagnostics made easy, reliable and compliant.
+CURA is the nation’s most up-to-date LIMS and patient-facing digital app designed by RDi Evolve. +CURA brings all screening and point of care diagnostics into one easy to use app for both carer and patient user experience.
The +CURA app provides a fully auditable chain of custody, real-time tracking for delivery and aggregated population-level insight across the pathway; with a full scope of insights to enable data-driven decision making.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have experience delivering screening at a national level?
For nearly 20 years, RDi has supported the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, designing and delivering the diagnostic kitting and operational processes that enable population screening at national scale. This experience underpins our ability to support large volume, governed screening programmes delivered safely and consistently.
What screening kits and components do you provide?
We design and supply validated screening kits and components tailored to programme requirements, including sample collection devices, UN3373 compliant packaging and barcoded components for traceability. Kits can be configured to support specific screening pathways and are designed for large scale, repeatable delivery.
Do you manage fulfilment and returns at scale?
Yes. RDi supports end to end fulfilment for screening programmes, including automated kit assembly, outbound distribution and managed returns. Our infrastructure is designed to operate reliably at national scale while maintaining full traceability and governance.
Can programmes scale or adapt over time?
Yes. Our screening infrastructure is designed to support phased rollout, population expansion and programme change, allowing screening services to scale or adapt without disrupting delivery or governance.
Do you meet GDPR standards for data protection?
Yes. Patient data is handled in line with GDPR and NHS data governance requirements, with appropriate clinical oversight and role based access controls. Data processing is determined by the purpose of the screening programme and aligned to the relevant regulatory and governance frameworks.
Does your platform integrate with existing systems (EHR, LIMS, APIs)?
Yes. Our solutions are designed to integrate with existing laboratory systems and national screening architectures, including LIMS and relevant data interfaces. This supports secure data flow, reporting, and operational oversight without the need for duplicate systems or manual reconciliation.
Can patients access their own results securely?
Yes. Where appropriate to the screening pathway, participants can access results and track tests through the +CURA platform. Access is governed by programme rules and clinical oversight, with strict data protection and GDPR compliance in place.
What support is available for participants?
RDi provides structured participant support to ensure kits are used correctly and returned compliantly. This includes multilingual support materials and clear, step by step Instructions for Use (IFUs), designed to reduce errors and minimise the need for manual follow up by screening teams.
